Abstract:

I'll describe joint work with Victor Ginzburg and Tom Nevins. We give a simple (linear algebra) description of the Hilbert schemes of points on the cotangent bundle of a curve, more general moduli of framed "perverse bundles" on the cotangent, and the quantized analogs of these spaces, using Koszul duality. In genus zero this gives an alternative point of view on the ADHM description of sheaves on P^2, and on the Calogero--Moser space, which parametrizes ideals in the Weyl algebra (as well as being the phase spaces of an interesting integrable system). (The talk will be elementary and completely independent of my colloquium talk.)
