Abstract:

Abstract: The algebraic K-theory of singularities contains both geometric and algebraic invariants. In this talk, I focus on the latter. In particular, I will explain how the failure of algebraic K-theory of singularities to be A^1-homotopy invariant can be expressed in terms of Hochschild homology, leading to a proof of a conjecture of Vorst.
