Title: A Partition Function View of Schramm-Loewner Evolution II

Abstract:

I will give two talks that will introduce the Schramm-Loewner evolution (SLE) in a slightly different perspective --- as a finite (not necessarily probability) measure on paths in domains satisfying certain conformal invariance and covariance properties. These measures arise as limits of normalized measures in statistical physics. I want to emphasize the importance of the ``(normalized) partition function'' (which is a fancy word for the total mass of the measure) in understanding the process.

I hope to show how various versions of SLE (radial, two-sided radial, perturbed domains, multiple SLEs, domains with holes, etc.) can be interpreted as just chordal SLE with an appropriate drift derived from the partition function or, in some cases, as Radon-Nikodym derivatives of chordal SLE whose derivative is a function of the "Brownian loop soup".

I will quickly review the definition of SLE in the talk, so previous experience is not necessary.
