This is the second of two talks introducing random complex geometry. The main topic is the zeros (and critical points) of Gaussian random holomorphic sections on Kahler manifolds. Such random sections are of interest in probability theory, complex geometry and string theory. The methods involve the microlocal analysis and asymptotics of Bergman kernels on powers of positive line bundles. This is joint work with B. Shiffman.Date: Monday, October 12, 2009
In this second talk I will explain a new large deviations result for the zeros in one dimension. The methods involve potential theory on Kahler manifolds, a growing subject in complex geometry. This is partly joint work with O. Zeitouni.
