Abstract:

We study operators obtained from the quantization of complex-valued functions on a $2n$-dimensional torus. We show that the expected number of eigenvalues of small random perturbations of these operators obeys a Weyl law, though the eigenvalues of the unperturbed operators may not. This is joint work with M. Zworski.
