Abstract:
I will discuss an arithmetic version of the classical Rallis' inner product formula, in the case of unitary groups. This arithmetic inner product formula will be an identity computing the central derivative of $L$-functions by the height of certian cycles on unitary Shimura varieties. This is first studied by Kudla in the symplectic-orthogonal case. I will explain an explicit formulation of such formula from the point of view of representation theory.Date: Monday, October 17, 2011
