Abstract:

Twisted de Rham complexes are of interest in the study of singularity theory and in the theory of matrix factorizations. I present a new approach that shows that in positive characteristic the twisted de Rham complexes arise as instances of specific derived intersections. As an application, I prove a particular case of the Barannikov-Kontsevich theorem using formality of twisted derived intersections
