Pinsky Lecture Series

Title: Integrable Probability
Speaker: Alexei Borodin
Speaker Info: MIT
Brief Description: The first of three consecutive Pinsky Lectures - this one is intended for a general audience
Special Note:
Abstract:

The goal of the lectures is to describe the emerging field of integrable probability that aims at identifying and analyzing exactly solvable probabilistic models. The models and results are often easy to describe, yet difficult to find, and they carry essential information about broad universality classes of stochastic processes.
