Abstract:

Knot theory has been an interesting subject for both mathematicians and physicists. Various knot invariants have been created to classify knots. They can be numbers, polynomials or even categories. In this talk, we will study knots from a perspective of symplectic and contact geometry. More specifically, the invariants will be some categories of microlocal sheaves. We will further investigate the relation between two of such categories, and how the objects transform.
