Title: An Invariance Principle for Barycentric Brownian Bees
Speaker: Jessica Lin
Speaker Info: McGill University
Brief Description:
Special Note:

We establish an invariance principle for a Brunet-Derrida particle system in d-dimensions with selection. The model consists of N particles undergoing dyadic branching Brownian motion with rate 1. At a branching event, the number of particles is kept equal to N by removing the particle located furthest away from the barycenter. This talk is based on joint work with Louigi Addario-Berry and Thomas Tendron.
