Abstract:

The connections between l-adic algebraic K-theory and étale cohomology have played a central role in the development of the former. In the p-adic context, a key computational tool is the cyclotomic trace to topological cyclic homology, which has close connections to prismatic cohomology. I will describe some aspects of the p-adic picture.
