We'll start from reviewing the Morse theory. I'll try to explain through examples how Morse functions form an A_infinity category, and how to analogously define Floer homology and Fukaya category in symplectic geometry. If time allows, I'll say a few words on how it is related to other areas (e.g. constructible sheaves, mirror symmetry).
