Let p be a prime number. For every field F, we construct a field L containing F such that the Strong Massey Vanishing Conjecture fails for L and the DGA of mod-p continuous cochains of the absolute Galois group of L is not formal. This answers a question of Positselski. Joint work with Alexander Merkurjev.
