I will give a working demonstration of the theory of motivic cohomology which I have developed with Matthew Morrow. In particular, I will show that the group of zero cycles on cones of smooth projective varieties over an algebraically closed field of characteristic p is zero. This implies that any corank zero vector bundle on such a variety splits off a trivial summand.
