Abstract:

I will present a recent paper by Guedj and Trusiani where they study the existence of a Kähler-Einstein metrics of positive curvature in the neighborhood of a log terminal singularity. Such a metric is genuinely Kähler-Einstein in the smooth locus, and has bounded potential around the singularity. As usual, such a metric comes down to studying a complex Monge-Ampère equation. In particular, they show that such a metric always exists via Ricci inverse iteration and coercivity of the Ding functional.
