Title: The Lubin-Tate spectrum E_n as a continuous G_n-spectrum and its homotopy fixed point spectra
Speaker: Daniel Davis

Brief Description:
Special Note: The talk is at 2:00 in the conference room.
Abstract:

We explain how the work of Devinatz and Hopkins implies that the Lubin-Tate spectrum E_n is a continuous G_n-spectrum. Using this continuous action, we define homotopy fixed point spectra, construct their descent spectral sequences, and show that these homotopy fixed point spectra are weakly equivalent to those of Devinatz and Hopkins.
