We define a function from the set of plus-minus quadratic forms to oriented geodesics in the upper half-plane that behaves nicely under the actions on each of these sets. This gives us a function from equivalence classes of quadratic forms to closed oriented geodesics in M. The goal is to establish this function and prove that it is a bijection.
