Abstract:
In this talk, I will discuss an application of a p-adic Jacquet-Langlands correspondence to the construction of a p-adic L-function associated to a Coleman family of eigenforms and a real quadratic field. These p-adic L-functions exhibit interesting exceptional vanishing phenomena. We will state some theorems and conjectures relating derivatives of these p-adic L-functions to elements of Bloch-Kato Selmer groups in this setting.
