Abstract:

Schramm-Loewner evolutions (SLE) are a type of stochastic process which have been found to be very useful in the study of many models in statistical physics. In this talk, after a brief discussion on the relationship between the analytic and probabilistic notions of Green's functions, I will discuss recent joint work with Greg Lawler proving the existence of a certain normalized limit of probabilities which we term the multi-point Green's function for SLE and it's relationship to an existing bound in the literature first proven by Vincent Beffara.
