Title: The holomorphy of exterior square L-functions
Speaker: Dustin Belt
Speaker Info: Northwestern
Brief Description:
Special Note:
Abstract:

We will investigate the poles of twisted exterior square L-functions, showing they have at most simple poles at s=0 and 1 using techniques adapted from Jacquet and Shalika's original approach. Also, if there is time, we will discuss why the same is true of the full (or competed) L-function using techniques from the Langlands-Shahidi Method.
