Abstract:
Suppose G is a group scheme over the function field Q(t), and X is a torsor for G such that X_t is trivial for almost all rational numbers t. Must X itself be trivial? We discuss several results regarding this question, both positive and negative. This is joint work with Andrew Snowden.Date: Monday, May 6, 2013
