Abstract:
Subfactors are a primary (only?) source of examples of exotic fusion categories, and it's also possible to learn interesting things about subfactors by asking category theoretic questions about them. This talk will be about "quantum subgroups" (ie, module categories) of the Haagerup fusion categories, and their Morita equivalence class. All words in the previous sentence (and containing more than five letters) will be defined. This talk is based on Grossman and Snyder's paper of a similar name.Date: Wednesday, February 13, 2013
