Title: On spaces of link maps

Abstract:

We use orthogonal calculus to study the space of link maps. The sequence of derivatives of link maps is an interesting, and as yet rather mysterious orthogonal sequence of spectra. I have some theorems and some conjectures about this sequence. It also is interesting to compare the space of link maps with the space of smooth embeddings from this perspective. There are parallels, but questions of naturality generally tend to be easier for link maps, while questions of convergence are easier for spaces of embeddings. I will try to explain this.
