Abstract:

At the first sight, there is no relationship between cohomology groups of a topological space and its homotopy groups. However, if we sacrifice some information and will work with rational coefficients instead of integers, then the problem of describing this relationship becomes much more tractable. It turns out that if our topological space is a simply connected compact Kaehler manifold, then its rationalized homotopy groups are determined by its cohomology algebra.
