I will discuss ongoing work that relates partial differential equations appearing in complex geometry and planar flows. Most of this will relate to the Homogeneous Monge-Ampere Equation and a flow in the plane called the Hele-Shaw flow, but I hope to include work in progress that puts this into a much more general context. All of this is joint with David Witt Nystrom.
