We will survey known regularity theory for the Yang-Mills equations and discuss epsilon-regularity for a non-linear perturbation of the Yang-Mills functional in any dimension when the gauge group is abelian. The relevance of this result to the epsilon-regularity theory for non-abelian Yang-Mills will be discussed.
