Northwestern's Association for Women in Mathematics chapter (NUAWM) is a group of students who, regardless of gender-identity or major, are interested in fostering gender diversity in mathematics. NUAWM hosts a variety of events such as dinners with faculty members, informal lunches, and talks by faculty, grad students, and undergraduates about research or diversity in mathematics. Food of some sort will be provided at most events.
Information on NUAWM events is distributed through its listserv. You can subscribe at https://listserv.it.northwestern.edu/scripts/wa.exe?HOME by searching NUAWM and logging in. Newly declared math majors are automatically subscribed to the NUAWM listserv. The welcome message you receive from the listerv explains how to unsubscribe. |
